LETTERS FROM DENVER, RYAN GREW UP

on June 19, 2015

So, what do you think about what Ryan did? Share your comments. Here is a video where you can see Ryan  as a young adult.

I personally think it is extraordinary, to see such a young boy trying so hard to get water to some of the poorest people in the world and doing his best to get the money to help them. And he did it! Despite being only 6 years old!

i hope this inspires you to do wonderful things for people who are not as fortunate as you. People who suffer hunger, pain, loneliness and think nobody cares for them.

It is part of our mission in this life to help the needy, to give joy to others and make their lives a little less difficult. And this includes all living and sentient being in the world, not only humans; this includes all animals!

GIVING is the best gift we can GIVE OURSELVES. When one gives love, when one does a good deed, when one gives of one’s possessions (food, clothes, toys), we can feel the greatest happiness there is in the whole wide world.

This is the reason I am so very happy, Because I know I am giving you  LOVE, KNOWLEDGE AND HELPING YOU ACHIEVE CONSCiOUSNESS, and this is the greatest treasure on Earth.

I will be leaving, as you, for a summer holiday. I will be going to Montepulciano, in Italy, to study Italian. I will also go to Berlin and Prague! And you know what? One of our former students, who belongs to the first generation  that graduated from BAI, is now living in Berlin.

He is a very kind young man and he offered to accompany me sightseeing. Isn’t this fantastic? Now he is all grown up and he cares for me very much, as I for him. We have become great friends. And this for me is the greatest gift of all!

Maybe one day, when you are all grown up, we can take a trip together. If i”m not too old! Of course I WON’T BE OLD. i will never be old. You know why? Because YOU, ALL OF YOU, keep me YOUNG!

I LOVE YOU AND SEND YOU MY BEST WISHES FOR A FANTASTIC SUMMER.

    Dear Miss

This type of videos make me think… sometimes I complain , or I say I am too tired?? Wow! It is admiring to see how such a young little person can be motivated and inspired to do something so wonderful. I love it and my students did to!

We hope you have an amazing trip in Italy! I have never been there, but I have heard by my dad that it is absolutely beautiful! Please take care and we will see you back once we come back to school!

    Dear Miss Lilian
1A is very grateful for all of your videos, and as a teacher I love the way that they react to them, making them aware of how lucky they are to have everything that they need to achieve anything that they put their mind to.
And even at a young age all the things a boy can do, they were amazed.

Have a great trip, see you soon.

    Miss Marcela

    Hello, Ms. Lilian!
The 5thB have finally found the time to catch up with your blog *This would mean, they’ve finished their work and tasks on time! Yeiii!
We watched Ryan’s contribution to the people in need of water. We’ve commented on the importance of not holding back when we can help others.
Alex de la Torre said, “Helping people can save their lives and they can fix their damage by us helping.”
Rossana Ortega said, “Helping others makes them happy. But I can feel happier by helping others.”
Carol Bernal says, “I think this video is going to inspire others to help people by reaching them through different things, for example, some can help by giving food, others by giving them clothing, others by sending medicine, and this can go on and on!”
Ana Paula says, “By helping people we can hope for a brighter future. It doesn’t matter how old or young you are, you can still make a difference!”
All of them have so much to say, and they’ve learned a lot! Thank you for sharing the richness found in goodness.
    Miss Julie

We can’t imagine how proud did Ryan and his mom felt when they went back to see the well and to see the people, who are incredibly thankful and joyful even though they are lacking so many things.

Have a great vacation !! We’ll be waiting for your letters.

    Xoxo !!
