How many of you would like to join the club? It’s free! It doesn’t cost a cent! You only have to choose from the list below and do a random act of kindness a day. Then, at the end of the week, you can share it with your teacher and friends and talk about how it made you feel.
Random Acts of Kindness
- Hold the door open for someone
- Leave a happy note for someone
- Set the table for dinner at home
- Read a book to someone
- Invite someone you don’t know to play with you
- Give a cookie to someone you don’t know
- Give someone a hug
- Make someone else’s bed
- clean up your room without being asked
- Prepare a meal and give it to someone who is hungry in the street
- Give away one of your favorite toys to a needy child
- Make a “Get Well” card for someone in the hospital
- Teach someone younger than you something they don’t know
- Write a card with happy words for someone
- Say “Please” and “Thank You” to all the persons you meet
- Write a poem for a friend
- Pick up the trash without being asked to
- Share your lunch with someone who doesn’t have one
- Offer to help your teacher
- Smile at someone who feels bad
You can certainly add to the list above and share a different act of kindness with your friends. The object of the Kind Kids Club is to inspire others to become more compassionate and spread the love all around your school, community and the world.
Our Mother Earth needs acts of kindness urgently! Let’s all help!

Jajaja, how funny, bright minds think alike.
On Wednesday when I spoke about the value of the month, I shared with the school that the 4th Graders had as homework for the weekend to “create an act of kindness” and today you suggest the same thing.
We will keep you posted on the outcome of our “experiment” let’s see how many people are surprised with the children’s random acts of kindness.
